Awaken Your Soul Power Retreat —

PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to Peaking Through Consultancy Inc., operating as The Peak Awakening (“we,” “us,” “the Company”), and to our websites, landing pages, funnels, forms, and online services (collectively, “Sites”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.

We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. Where they apply to you, we also honour the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), as described below.

By using our Sites or providing us with your information, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Sites.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us, for example when you fill out a form, apply for the retreat, book a call, subscribe, or contact us:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and mailing/location details;
  • Application and questionnaire responses;
  • For retreat participants: health, dietary, accessibility, and emergency-contact information you choose to share so we can care for you safely;
  • Payment information (processed by our third-party payment providers — see Section 6 — we do not store full card numbers);
  • Any messages or information you send us.

Information collected automatically when you visit our Sites:

  • Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring links, and general location;
  • Data collected through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising pixels (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, process, and deliver our programs, retreats, calls, and services;
  • Communicate with you about your registration, payments, and logistics;
  • Respond to your enquiries and provide support;
  • Send you newsletters, offers, and marketing — only where you have consented (see Section 3);
  • Understand how our Sites are used and improve our content and offers;
  • Keep our Sites secure and prevent fraud;
  • Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. Marketing Communications & Your Consent (CASL)

In accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we send marketing emails only to people who have given consent. Every marketing email includes a clear unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time — we will honour your request promptly. You can also contact us directly (Section 12) to be removed. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential service messages related to a program or retreat you have booked.

4. How We Use Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Like most websites, our Sites use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and tags) to make the Sites work, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support our advertising. These may include:

  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our Sites;
  • Advertising pixels (e.g., the Meta/Facebook Pixel) to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising;
  • Embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos), which may set its own cookies.

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Sites may not function properly if you do. Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EU/UK), we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

With service providers who process data on our behalf, under agreements requiring them to protect it, including:

  • Go High Level (HighLevel) — our CRM, forms, scheduling/booking, email, and marketing platform;
  • Stripe — secure payment processing;
  • Journeys of the Spirit — our travel partner, which processes retreat bookings and payments;
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook & Instagram) — advertising and analytics;
  • Google — website analytics and embedded YouTube content;
  • Skool — our community platform, if you join our community;
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative providers as needed to run our business.

For legal reasons — to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, warrant, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

In a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. International Data Transfers

We operate from Canada and use service providers located in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. Your information may be stored or processed outside your country of residence, where privacy laws may differ from your own. By using our Sites and services, you consent to these transfers.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Delete your information (where we are not required to retain it);
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and request portability of your data.

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority, and we process your data on the lawful bases of consent, contract, and legitimate interests.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using Section 12. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain our business records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — including secure storage and limiting access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the appropriate authorities of any breach as required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Sites and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to Other Websites

Our Sites may link to third-party websites. This Policy applies only to our Sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
